Permitted Payments (Fee's) for Tenants
b) A security deposit of 5 weeks rent where the yearly rent is less than £50,000 or 6 weeks where the rent is more than £50,000.
c) A refundable holding deposit equal to one weeks rent to reserve the property.
d) Variation of tenancy at the request of the tenant - £50 inc VAT or reasonable costs incurred if higher
e) Payments in connection with early surrender of Tenancy at the tenants request.
f) Payments for water, electricity, gas, council tax, tv licence, telephone & internet services.
g) Default interest may be charged on a pro rata basis at 3% plus the Bank of England’s base rate if rent payment is more than 14 days overdue.
h) A default payment for replacing keys, key fobs, garage remote controls or other security devices that the tenant has lost if required under terms of their tenancy agreement.
Company lets/non housing act tenancies
a) Tenancy start up administration fee - £100 inc VAT
b) Tenancy renewal administration fee - £78 inc VAT
c) Variation of tenancy at the request of the tenant - £78 inc VAT or reasonable costs incurred if higher
d) Inventory check out fee of £120-£250 payable to the independent inventory clerk.
